senate, it'd be best if you provided some specific examples. What usage do you mean exactly? There are differences - first and foremost in meaning - but you have to specify your query.

BTW, 'should to' is incorrect. Modals don't take full infinitive. The 'should to' sequence could be possible, but only in specific contexts.

glownie chodzilo mi o zdania konstrukcji typu "o ktorej godzinie powinienem tam byc" lub "co powinnismy teraz zrobic" takie stricte proste aczkolwiek no wlasnie.. czy lepiej uzyc w nich should czy suppose oraz czy jest jakas regula odnosnie uzycia should oraz suppose. dziekuje i pozdrawiam!

"To be supposed to" sounds like a command, order or something of that sort. I'd say it's more harsh. If you were a stern father, and your son asked you to let him go out, you'd definitely want to say, "OK, go out, but don't forget you're supposed to be home before ten o'clock! And thus, it's a kind of obligation, whereas "should" is used for giving advice, information or recommendation. It's much weaker than "supposed to." So, say, suppose you were a more lenient father, you'd want to say, "OK, go out but you should be home before ten o'clock" (not that you have to, though :cwaniak:

). Summing up, whether you go for the former or the latter depends on what kind of father you are.
